Here are some notes about this show that you may not have known about:

- Josh Keaton and James Arnold Taylor had previously done voices in Spider-Man video games. Mr. Keaton was the voice of Harry Osborn for the games based on the first two "Spider-Man" films, and he provided the voice of Harry as the New Goblin in the video game "Spider-Man: Friend or Foe". In the latter game, Mr. Taylor provided the voice of Spider-Man. In this cartoon series, Mr. Keaton is the voice of Spider-Man and Mr. Taylor is the voice of Harry.

- Daran Norris (the voice of J. Jonah Jameson) and Dee Bradley Baker (Dr. Curt Connors/Lizard) have actually done the voices of their characters before in Spider-Man video games. Mr. Norris provided the voice of Jameson in the 2000 "Spider-Man" video game for Playstation and Nintendo 64, while Mr. Baker was the voice of Lizard. In the Playstation only sequel to that game, "Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro", Mr. Baker did the voice for Lizard's alter-ego Dr. Curt Connors.

- John DiMaggio, who provides the voices for Hammerhead and Sandman, was previously known as the voice of the Rhino in a few Spider-Man video games, such as "Spider-Man 2" and "Spider-Man: Friend or Foe".

- Greg Weisman said in an interview that after Peter MacNicol had been cast as the voice of Doctor Octopus, the actor told him that he was actually a huge Spider-Man fan and his favorite character is Doc Ock.
